Amazon.com The Buddies puppies (Air Buddies) have been a great team since birth and now that Buddha, Mudbud, Rosebud, Budderball, and B'Dawg have all been adopted by various well-matched families throughout Fernfield Washington, they've each developed a comfortable routine with their new owners. After being chastised by Ms. Mittens (voiced by Whoopi Goldberg) for chasing her kitten, B'Dawg and the rest of the Buddies meet up in the park for a game of ball, but Budderball leads them astray after spotting a truck full of ice cream. What none of them expects after their all-you-can-eat ice cream binge is that they will soon end up parachute dropped into Ferntiuktuk Alaska with what's left of the ice cream shipment. After a night spent alone in a strangely white and very cold world, they are befriended by a young husky dog named Shasta (voiced by Dylan Sprouse) who's young owner Adam (Dominic Scott Kay) wants nothing more in life than to assemble a sled dog team and compete in a dogsled race across Alaska. Assuming that the Buddies are the answer to Adam's prayers for a sled dog team, Shasta convinces the Buddies to race and enlists the legendary sled dog Talon (voiced by Kris Kristofferson) to train them all while Adam pours over his father's old sledding journal and single-handedly constructs a sled that's the perfect size for him and his team. Adam secretly enters the race against his father's wishes and thus begins a perilous, but exhilarating journey that teaches everyone involved a lot about teamwork, faith, and the importance of helping others. While many aspects of this film are completely unbelievable, the talking Buddies are adorable, the plot is significantly improved over the movie's predecessor Air Buddies, and the wholesome message will appeal to children and adults alike. (Ages 3 and older) --Tami Horiuchi

Great family movie! September 5, 2008 This is a great movie for the entire family. After renting this movie I enjoyed it so much I purchased a copy. We have a puppy with the same markings & color as Shasta, except she is an Alaska husky mix with brown eyes.
Snowing for the Buddies August 14, 2008 This movie was given to me by my friend I watched it and I knew right off the bat that it wasn't going to be as good as the first one. shasta is played by Dylan Sprouse and Abigail Breslin Isn't the voice of Rosebud but It still is a funny movie Especially when you put the buddies commentary on. The movie starts out when all 5 of the puppies are with their new owners. and they meet together at the park. they decide to play hide and seek. Budderball's stomach gets the better of him again! he climbs into the ice cream truck. and the dogs find him and climb into the truck also and a few hours later they find themselves in Alaska! and then there's poor Adam with his Alaskan Husky. he wishes for christmas that he can form a dog sled team. then the buddies come along and Adam decides to form a dog sled team with them.in the end they go back to WA with their families and Adam has more confidence and shasta grows up to be a good dog sledder. Just writing about this movie makes me want to go watch it right now!
Just Okay August 12, 2008 I was a disappointed with this movie. I purchased it for my 5 year old grandaughter and it didn't even keep her attention. IMHO, it was too hokey for a Disney film. Definitely not worth the money.Snow Buddies
Enjoyed it especially with Grandkids July 31, 2008 Since I recently acquired a Siberian Husky about 4 months ago, he is a 6.5 year old, and not the puppy shown in the movie. But the children and I enjoyed watching the movie. They also loved the little Husky in the movied, but having a real one watching it with them made a difference.
Simply wonderful! June 4, 2008 Great movie for young and old alike. The computer animation is really good and the pups are soooooo cute. We will definitely watch this again and again.
