In each episode we will select one or two dogs that serve as our main guides through the colorful world of purebreds. Through interviews with owners, trainers, judges, breeders and veterinarians, we will explore the development of a "top dog". Observe Border collies at work and at play! On farms in Tennessee and Virginia, Border Collies herd sheep, cows and even a 2000 lb. bull! We meet Trish McConnell, an animal behaviorist, talk show host, and owner of 4 border collies. As we watch them we learn about the advantages and disadvantages of owning this breed.
