Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars great series for young readers   January 2, 2008

This is a great series for young kids. My 5 year old loves dogs and this is his favorite series. It teaches about puppy/dog care, different types of dogs, dogs who have jobs, and the responsibility and maturity it takes to have a pet. I especially like the first few books where the Petersons learn to accept the fact that they can't have a puppy and why they are not ready for one yet.

I need to know what number the books are in the serious - as in #1 or #11 - I can't tell from the pictures or the writeups for the books.
