A nice story, and it's educational, too! June 28, 2008
This is the first book in the series that I've read to my six year old daughter and she really enjoyed it. We chose it as our first book because we are getting a German Shepherd soon and it grabbed her attention. She learned some tips about puppies and Search-and-Rescue dogs. For us, it was a perfect chapter-a-night book...it held her attention and she looked forward to reading each night. We will be reading more Puppy Place books in the near future!
