Product Description Charles and Lizzie Peterson are very good with puppies. They want one of their own, but their mom isn't ready for them to have one full time. For now, they help take care of puppies that need to find a new home. They are a foster family for young dogs.
The Peterson kids hear about Snowball. Someone left the fluffy puppy all alone at a gas station in a tattered, old box. Snowball is sick and hungry. He needs a family of his own. Can Charles and Lizzy find one that is just right?

My daughter was in first grade when she started reading these books. She loves this series. They are all adorable. While she is an advanced reader, it is a good book that you can read to your little ones.
The book is about Charles and Lizzy Peterson who love dogs. They want one of their very own but their mom will not let them have one. However, they decide to take care of dogs and try to find homes for them. Snowball is one such dog.
My daughter has read Flash and Goldie. The stories all follow the same premise so, if your child likes one, then chances are that they will like the others. I think it is a bit cheesy but if it keeps my daughter reading then it is a good book by me. Besides, the pictures on the covers are so irresistable.
